In part 1 of this webinar will expose students to the concept of analyzing signs for their motoric movements.  Fifteen different rules for analysis will be discussed and demonstrated as part of this webinar. In the process of looking at these motor movement rules, participants will be able to determine which signs are most appropriate to use and teach people with multiple disabilities.  This workshop can be helpful to BOTH interpreters and special education teachers.

Educational Objectives:
  1. Participants will be able to recognize the different rules for sign analysis.
  2. Participants will be able to determine which signs are easier to physically produce and utilize with clients who have multiple disabilities.
  3. Participants will be able to explain why certain signs are easier to produce in comparison with signs that are more difficult to produce.
