The ‘church’ has a vast multitude of specialized terminology, idioms, and language unique to the ‘church’. Additionally, the ‘church’ interpreter may find themselves in a variety of religious settings. This workshop will provide an in depth analysis of the various aspects that encompass the complex world of interpreting in religious settings, and offer tools of how to successfully navigate it.
After the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to distinguish the needs of religious interpreters, synthesize practical tips to prepare logistically and spiritually for interpreting events, and utilize resources to enhance victorious outcomes.
