In the school setting, educational and agency interpreters often encounter situations or scenarios where they need to analyze the ethical dilemmas. Educational and agency interpreters must keep in mind of their Deaf and hard of hearing students when they are faced with ethical situations because the ethical situations would have short-term and long-term impacts on the students. In this workshop, we will discuss what type of ethical dilemmas and situations educational and agency interpreters may encounter and what to do. Scenarios will be shared and participants will discuss and share ideas how to address the scenarios.
- Participants will be able to analyze and identify ethical dilemmas and situations within the educational setting and describe various options for resolutions to these dilemmas.
 - Participants will be able to identify and describe both short- and long-term impacts of ethical dilemmas in the educational setting.
 - Participants will be able to identify and describe the perspectives of the of Deaf and hard of hearing students as it relates to various ethical scenarios in an educational setting.
