This two-hour introductory course will dive into ethical protocols that are unique to interpreting in the legal setting.

Educational Objectives:

  1. Participants will be able to list a minimum of three differences between ethical decision-making that apply to most community settings but differ in the legal field.
  2. Participants will be able to identify the various filters used in ethical decision making process as it relates to the legal setting.
  3. Participants will be able to describe their role as an officer of the court and discuss how this role impacts their decision making process in a court setting.
