Often times, interpreters struggle to know how to interpret locations, directions, and more. One of the challenges is perception and how to interpret for the audience. Another challenge is knowing how use the space around you and how to take advantage of the space. Discourse mapping is also something that interpreters struggle to incorporate in their interpreting as well as not remembering where locations and directions were set up from earlier. In this webinar, we will work on how to interpret locations, states, directions and more. You might pick up a few tricks and tips to help you remember how to interpret maps and more!
- Participants will be able to correctly incorporate directions correctly in space while interpreting.
- Participants will be able to utilize discourse mapping in order to remember where prior information was set up and maintain accuracy throughout the interpretation.
- Participants will be able to analyze information to successfully set up information that is visually accessible for the audience.
