Participants will learn to identify features of particular cultures. They will review some typical manners in which cultures differ before seeing how those variations tend to show up in cultural groups.

Educational Objectives:
  1. Participants will be able to categorize cultures based on common cultural traits.
  2. Participants will be able to define traits found in many cultural groups.
  3. Participants will be able to give examples of the cultural characteristics of various groups.
  4. Participants will be able to distinguish between generalizations and stereotypes.
